This course is instructed by volunteer law enforcement, firearms trainers, medical, and manufacturing experts with safety and legal use as the primary focus. Class covers use-of-force issues, applicable state and federal laws, firearm fuctions, gun handling skills, and how safety is affected by stressful incidents. Students will participate in live-fire training exercises under the supervision of law enforcement firearms instructors. Students DO NOT need a handgun to attend, and instructors recommend attending this course first if a purchase is planned. A minimum of four hours range time per group will be arranged in class. Must be 18 years or older to attend. Tuition includes supply fee. Note: No class on March 16. |
