This course is 'from the ground up' and designed for people with little or no experience with horses. Students will learn to work with a horse from the ground, groom, saddle and bridle, and ride in a safe, non-threatening environment. Horses used are quiet and gentle. Boots or hard soled shoes with heels and long, non-slippery pants are required. Helmets are required when riding and will be provided. Minimum age 14 yrs old. Participants must sign a liability release form prior to working with the horses. NOTE: $60 supply fee paid to instructor. Class size limited.
