If you are a beginner kayaker, or have taken an Intro to Kayaking course with the instructor, join this course get a review of wet exits, t-rescues, boat and body positioning. Course will spend part of the day paddling around Jenny Gulch in preparation for the river, then move toward Silver City on Rapid Creek. The river section will focus on eddies, eddie lines, peel outs, proper boat tilts, river hazards and slowing down the river. All equipment, kayaks, and fees are included in the tuition. Mandatory waiver signed at class Ages 14 yrs to 114 yrs welcome. Note: Class will meet at Canyon Lake Park parking lot by the bridge at 8AM and caravan to Jenny Gulch.
