Make your trivets matching...or not! Either way, the choice is uniquely yours to use them or give as gifts. We think you'll want to keep them both. Mosaic techniques have been in use for more than 5,000 years for floors, walls, and a variety of other beautiful things. Materials can be marble, stone, glass, beads...literally anything sturdy you can glue to a support surface and grout. We will be working with glass tiles on MDF (maximum density fiberboard) to make 2 trivets: an 8 x 8 in and an 8 x 12 in that have ball feet. No experience required, just your creativity to the learn the basics of mosaic design, modifying a design for different sizes, use of tile grid, transfer of tiles, grouting, and finishing. All materials are of the best quality and included in the tuition.
