This workshop is for beginners - no previous experience required! Although floors, tables, etc., have all been used as surfaces for mosaic work, this class starts you off with a more manageable project!. We will begin with an overview of a variety of mosaic materials, techniques, and design constraints. You will design and make a beautiful stepping stone to accent your garden or use for a gift. All materials, including a vareity of mosaic tiles, are included in the tuition. To personalize your stone, you may bring objects to use with the tiles like a special stone, shell, or piece of jewelry. Students will need to make arrangements to unmold their stone outside of class. The stone form will be yours to keep so you can make more at home.
