Come learn the ancient art of basket weaving and learn 2 different styles of this satisfying practice. The first has a wooden base through which spokes are secured and woven upon. The second basket is completely woven starting at the middle and continuing up the sides. The basket tops are finished in one of three different ways, so yours are completely unique to your style and can be geared to hold potted plants, vase-shaped, for May Day, etc., Students should wear old clothes and be prepared to get slightly wet as we will be working with water.
