This class is recommended for new students interested in learning the basics of Hatha Yoga. Anyone can benefit from a yoga practice through postures, breathing exercises, and centering to exercise, tone, and strengthen the whole body, mind and spirit. Class offers breathe, foundation, alignment, sun salutations, standing, and seated poses. Yoga is practiced in comfortable clothing (shorts or easy-moving pants and either a t-shirt, tank top, or leotard) and bare feet. For your own comfort, do not eat a large meal before class. NOTE: Please arrive 15 min. early for the first class. |
