This course will be an intro to the wonderful age-old art of hand weaving and a continuation for those at intermediate skill level. Beginners will learn the basics and have a piece to take home. The instructor has two looms and will be demonstrating on one. Please bring a rigid heddle loom or a table model loom if you have one. Otherwise, use of the loom will be shared. Experienced weavers please bring a portable warping board if you have one. Please bring to class: notebook/pencil, scissors, tape measure, and masking tape. Handouts will be provided. NOTE: The first class will be 10AM - 2PM, we will take a 1/2-hour break so bring a snack if you wish. A supply fee of $10 or less (to be decided upon in class) paid to instructor.
