Registrations are accepted on a space available basis. Prompt registration avoids disappointment when classes fill quickly and alleviates the possibility of class cancellations due to low enrollment. Instructors can not accept registration or tuition in class and registration is only confirmed by your payment of tuition and confirmation number. Complete the registration form in the back of the Community Education booklet. If faxing: include your debit/ credit card+expiration date, sign, and fax to (605)394-6083. If mailing: choose a payment option, sign, mail payment with form to: Community Education of the Black Hills, 730 E. Watertown Street, Rapid City, S D 57701.You can also bring the form to the provided address. Office hours are Monday - Thursday 7:30AM to 4:30PM and Friday: 7:30AM to 4PM.
Cancellations
Community Education reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment. You will be notified and your tuition will be refunded. Cancellations Due to Weather: In the case of inclement weather, listen to your favorite broadcaster as Community Education classes are cancelled when area public schools close due to weather.
Withdrawals and Refunds
Community Education students withdrawing from a class must notify the Career Learning Center (394-5120) at least three business days before the first day of class. Refunds will be mailed within 30 days. A $7 processing fee will be deducted from all refunds ($20 for Drivers Ed). If supply fees are included in the tuition, that portion is non-refundable. No refunds will be made after the class begins.
